Before Chi and After Chi
Before Chi I am a reasonably athletic and fit male in my early 50s. I was a casual runner, running about 3-5 miles at a time. I started practicing for a half marathon which was followed by practicing for a full. I went through a series of problems: Achilles tendinitis, runner's knee, black toe nails, calf muscle cramps, and constant knee pain. I managed my painful knees by wearing braces and icing them after long runs. After Chi Since following Chi running during the past four months, most of my problems have disappeared. I do not wear a knee brace now. My recoveries after long runs are less than a day. I enjoy running even more now and look for days when I can run longer. Muhilan Pandian, Ph.D. Henderson, Nevada
Chi Running complements my Yoga practice!
The lessons of ChiRunning are not limited to running. I have learned how to sustain proper posture -- I no longer suffer from chronic back pain from sitting at a desk all day. ChiRunning has shown me how fun running can be. As a long-time yoga practitioner, it complements my yoga routine and has greatly improved my balance and core strength. Katherina, Master of Public Diplomacy student at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism
Running is like effortlessly gliding!
I have always liked the idea of running more than actually getting out there and pushing through it. With Chi I have found pleasure in running as I am able to enjoy it and effortlessly glide. Seems impossible but it's true! It takes work to get there but once you do, your whole work out perspective will be changed completely! Melissa, University of Southern California, Engineering Student
